Relief Society

On Monday Night for my Ward’s Family Home Evening we had Relief Society Appreciation Night. The brothers put on a special program for us sisters. It was Fantastic! We had a few live performance, such as musical number and a rap. Haha. We had a few videos as well. At the end we were all given a special personalized Valentine card. It was a lovely evening full of laugher and fun. :)

The favorite video clip of the night was a sneak peek into Elder’s Quorum. It was actually a scene from Lord of the Rings dub over by a few of the Brethren. It was Hilarious! The Elf Leader was the teacher voiced by Brother Smith. He asked Frodo/Josh to bring the object of the object lesson forward- aka the Ring. Haha. Brother Smith then chastised the boys about being single and told them they had to court a girl in the Ward. One of the guys spoke up that “One cannot simple walk into the Relief Society and forge a relationship..” haha. Then a fight began. Who knew Elder’s Quorum was so intense? Haha. Josh/Frodo spoke up that he will do it. He’ll ask a girl from the ward out. Few of the others joined saying they’d “double” then “triple”, “quadruple” and… “five!” hahaha!! :) It was Awesome!!

I love Relief Society. I love going to class on Sunday. The lessons are fantastic and we have great discussions. I also love going to the activities we have. The whole bond of Sisterhood the Relief Society creates I love and am truly grateful to have in my life. :)
